Dr. Karim Gherab-Martin is a theoretical physicist and a philosopher of science and technology. His research interests focus on Science and Technology Studies, Philosophy of Physics and Philosophy of Mind. He has taught history of science at Universidad Autónoma in Madrid, philosophy of physics at Harvard University, and open innovation at Universidad del País Vasco and Universidad CEU San Pablo. He has also been a visiting scholar in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
He is the author of the books "The New Temple of Knowledge: Towards a Universal Digital Library" (Common Ground Publishing, 2008) and "Tecnología y cultura: la larga sombra de Gutenberg" (Luarna, 2010). He also is co-editor of the book "Emerging Digital Spaces in Contemporary Society: Properties of Technology" (Palgrave-Macmillan, 2011), and editor of a monograph in the periodical Arbor, entitled "Ciencia y cultura en la Red" ("Science and Culture on the Web").
